Flox Named Exclusive Media Sponsor of the Rock Bottom Curling Club's 2025 Season
Flox Team | 18 April 2025

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
NEW YORK, NY and DENVER, COLO. — April 18th, 2025 — Flox, the company bringing reproducible dev environments to teams and enterprises everywhere, is thrilled to announce its sponsorship of the Rock Bottom Curling Club for the 2025 season—marking the company's first official foray into the world of sports partnerships.
Based in the Denver area, the Rock Bottom Curling Club travels across the United States competing in regional and national tournaments. The Flox glyph logo will now proudly travel with them—on jerseys, curling fidgets, and premium vacuum-insulated bottles—as the team skitters into a new season.
"This might be our first sports collab, but it's already our favorite," said Ron Efroni, CEO of Flox. "The Rock Bottom Club embodies the same things we value at Flox: grit, experimentation, doing things differently—and repeatability. They just repeatedly win. We're excited to support them on and off the ice."
The partnership came together thanks to Zach Mitchell, a Flox engineer and team member of Rock Bottom. "There's something pretty poetic about a company that builds reproducible environments teaming up with a sport that's all about precision and repeatability," Mitchell said. "Also: I am become meme lord."
The team kicked off the season in Huntsville, Alabama with a strong showing—winning some, losing some, and playing with the all-gas-no-brakes spirit that defines both the sport and the culture at Flox.
"There's something beautiful about it," said Efroni. "It's kinetic surface conditioning—sweepers guiding the stone—on a field of noise. The ice is uneven, imperfect, unpredictable—you sweep to create repeatability. That's Flox. We give you deterministic outcomes in chaotic environments."
